Knora’s Thesis Collection Pop-Up Showcase + Knit Wire Demo

This special pop-up showcase features selections from Knora’s thesis collection alongside an interactive knitting machine demonstration where visitors can observe (and even participate in!) the mesmerizing process of transforming yarn into dimensional textile forms in real time.

Guests will have the opportunity to explore garments, knit-wire experiments, and sculptural textile samples while learning about the playful and unconventional possibilities of machine knitting as both a craft and contemporary art practice.

Participants are also invited to try Knora’s knitting machine firsthand using shiny yarns and colorful fibers to create scarves, textile panels, experimental swatches, and delightfully unexpected knitted forms.
